2025 Dakar Done: A Historic Chapter for BAS World KTM Racing Team

๐Ÿ… 9 Rally 2 Stage Wins
๐Ÿ… 2 Overall Stage Wins
๐Ÿ… Most Stage-Winning Team in Rally 2

Michael Docherty made history, becoming the first Rally 2 rider to win two stages at Dakar. His efforts helped KTM achieve their 20th victory in the bike category, with Michael securing two of those wins and four stage victories in Rally 2. He finished 14th overall and 5th in the Rally 2 class.ย

Tobias Ebster had a standout performance, finishing 9th overall and 2nd in Rally 2, earning the title of best privateer of the year with three stage wins.

Toni Mulec finished 13th overall and 4th in Rally 2, coming close to a stage win. Heโ€™s just getting started, and weโ€™ll be seeing more from him.

A huge congratulations to Toby Hederics on completing his first Dakar, finishing 19th overall and 9th in Rally 2, plus securing 2nd best Rookieโ€”what an impressive debut!

Francisco Arredondo completed his 10th Dakar, finishing 71st overall and 61st in Rally 2, further cementing his legendary status in the rally world.

Jiri Broz faced a mechanical issue that prevented him from finishing stage 11, but his determination saw him return for stage 12, completing his first Dakarโ€”an incredible feat.

Mathieu Doveze continued in the Rally Experience class after an earlier withdrawal, securing two stage wins despite not ranking in Rally 2.

Bradley Coxโ€™s Rally GP run was cut short, but we know the top step is within reach and weโ€™re excited for his comeback.

Dakar success is never achieved alone. Huge thanks to the mechanics, crew, and team manager Bart van der Velden for their tireless dedication. The team worked through long nights to ensure the bikes performed on the toughest terrain, and their commitment was vital to our success.

Congratulations to the riders, crew, and the entire BAS KTM Racing Team for an unforgettable 2025 Dakar! ๐Ÿ‘
