Hello Guys i’m

Tobias Ebster

“After an incredible year in 2024, with victory in the Original by Motul category, 20th place overall and the title of the rookie of the year, I kept up the pace by taking part in the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge. Unfortunately, the race didn’t go as planned: I crashed on the fourth stage due to technical problems, which sidelined me for several weeks. Then I took part in the Hellas Rally, where I got injured again. These experiences made me review my program and intensify my training. I then took part in the Rallye du Maroc, which was a great success and excellent training, without any navigation mistake or crash. I’ve also added a mental preparation to my training, and recently came back from a week’s navigation training in the USA with a friend at the All American Rally Raid. For 2025, my goals are clear: I’m aiming for a podium in Rally 2 and a Top 15 overall. I love motocross, hiking and mountain biking, and I’m passionate about anything that involves sport. That said, with my busy schedule between racing and travelling, I no longer have time for other jobs, like delivering pizzas. My training now focuses mainly on motocross, which remains my favourite activity and an excellent complement to rally preparation. I’m extremely motivated and can’t wait to take the start of the Dakar 2025.”

About me

After starting in motocross and enduro, Tobias Ebster claimed the FIM Bajas World Cup 2022 in Dubai and triumphed in Rally 2 at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge against seasoned opponents. His victory in the “Road to Dakar” program secured him a spot in the Dakar Rally, despite injuries including a fractured shoulder during the Rallye du Maroc and a fractured scaphoid in November 2023. Competing with his uncle Heinz Kinigadner’s team, a motocross and rally-raid legend, Tobias won the “Original by Motul” category and finished 20th overall as the best rookie. Although injuries on the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and the Hellas Rally tested his resilience, he bounced back to finish 11th overall and 5th in Rally 2 at the Rallye du Maroc with the BAS World KTM Racing Team.
